'Johnny Cash - Hurt' Music Video Analysis





The music video starts with by cutting the shots to the beat of the instrumental. There seems to be a yellowish filter over the main footage of the present area of the music video. This makes the footage seem worn and dated, which represents Cash’s career. The main location of the music video looks to be some sort of house, which seems well adorned with fine decorations. This makes the video more personal, thus having a greater effect on the viewer. The entire song promotes an idea of reflection on the past, this can be seen throughout Cash’s role in the video, and how much of the main figure of it.  The lighting in the shots with Cash is bright and representative of a sunset, which symbolises his career at its end.  As well as this

Video Games : Fallout 4 Trailer



Fallout 4 is a soon to be released video game, to come out on November. The game is a mix of various different genres, a mix of Sci-fi/Survival, while also an RPG, so the player takes the role of the character they are playing. Recently a trailer was released, which became very popular. The video game takes on the idea of a post apocalyptic world, and taps into the fan base of previous games, by using similar music to what is featured in previous games. As a game trailer it uses a lot of pan shots, to show off the world of the game, to showcase it. The pan is also paced by the speed of the music. This makes the progression of the trailer more.
Generally, the advert was aimed more at fans of the franchise, as it followed the conventions of the previous installments of the franchise. It is designed to be shown more on YouTube, internet advertisements or on rare occasions in cinemas.
